Aircell insulation vs anticon
Hi all,
I just got a price for the aircell insulation at $360.00 for 1350 x 22.5
I understand that aircell performs as well as batts and acts as a sarking also...
Anticon - is anticon a similar product? could i use anticon in place of batts and sarking?
Does anybody know approximately how anticon compares in price?
And if using cliplcok roofing, it has quite high furrow ridges things, would this be detrimental to the whole anti condensation effectiveness of anticon as their may be air gaps between the wool and the high ridges of the cliplock??
thanks

I would prefer to use Anticon rather than Aircell. Like I said in another thread you will find Aircell harder to lay without damaging it as apposed to Anticon.

Make it work.
That is the way it is used. What Zongatron says about condensation forming in the ribs of the Kliplok doesn't happen. Condensation is formed by warm air underneath coming in contact with the cold steel. Because the insulation is under the Kliplok the steel remains cold underneath and no condensation forms.
