    Default Converting the garage

So, we have moved to the beach. New house is one bedroom short. So, while we find a builder to do an extension or lift, we are going to build in the garage. Well, part of it. So, what would you all suggest for flooring. Currently concrete.

    carpet tiles.

2nd hand ones are like 50c each. there super simple to lay, 2nd hand ones normally have enough glue/schtick to them that you can just throw them down.

easy to maintain, can handle being wet. and if you ruin a few you just lift them up and replace them or remove the lot if you ever want it back to concrete.

I have them in my double garage/work shop and their heaps nicer under foot, no concrete dust and if you drop tools on them they don't instantly chip as there is a bit of give with the carpet.
