Aldis Telescope $50 - can see craters on Moon !
I just bought a telescope from Aldis for $50.
Its Fabulous !
Can clearly and easily see the craters on the Moon, no worries at all.
For a newb like me its amazing.
For those who know about telescopes its a National Geographic brand and its called a 76 / 350 Dobsonian telescope comes with 20mm 4mm lenses a moon filter and a 2x magnifier
How much do I have to spend to see the rings on Saturn ? Or the Jupiter spot ?

Have a look at Astronomy Picture of the Day
https://apod.nasa.gov/apod as there are many many,many pictures and explanations of space pictures and archives going back to 1995. A lot cheaper than a telescope and makes our little blue sphere look very insignificant.
I look at this on a daily basis.
I remember, as a young child, sitting outside at night and looking as Sputnik and later other satelittes going across the sky. We did not have power in those days and night entertainment only came from a battery powered valve radio and trying to read with the light from kero powered pressure lamps.

Shedbound,
Aldis are in Morwell, Traralgon and Warragul. There was a few telescopes left in Traralgon a couple of days ago.
If you are going past any of these places might be worth dropping in for a look.
