DIY bathroom reno help required
Hi I am about to start on a DIY bathroom reno on the 2nd floor of a terrace house. Current floor is T/G timber boards nailed to hardwood floor joists.
Does anyone have literature / info on how to:
1. Install fibre cement floor sheeting onto floor joists
2. water proof floor and walls including adding PVC angles
3. how to install a rectangular bathtub onto timber frame and have tiling coming done the wall on 3 sides to meet top of bath
4. how to install a toilet bowl (back to wall type)
5. how to install a cistern (pedastal type)
6. plan to install villaboard onto 4 walls (3 walls are full brick and one wall is timber stud frame).......is villaboard mounted onto metal furring channels OK for brick walls?......or is it best to cement render as a base for tiling?
cheers
