Cliff,
My thoughts are with you mate.
My old man is 87 had 3 strokes, the old lady is as silly as a wheel - oldtimers disease!.
Had my share of scares and so are you - treasure every moment, some of us are lucky enough to still have them around.
Glad to hear things are on the up but we are all only a tap on the shoulder away so remember:
There is too much fun too be had!!
JamiePerhaps it is better to be irresponsible and right, than to be responsible and wrong.

Glad to hear he's up and about. Makes you realise that you should enjoy every chance you can to keep in touch. Lost both my parents and there is such a hole left in my life but great memories.
Cheers Cliff

I just got to talk to him on the phone for the first time since the operation; he didn’t want to take the call ‘cos he is short of breath but the nurse made him, told him it would be good for him.
They are making him get up & go for walks too & I get the impression that he doesn’t enjoy that much.
Mum & one of my brothers are there with him at present so I spoke to Mum as well.
She says he is still in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) but he may be moved out this afternoon or tomorrow.
It is good to hear his voice again.Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.
