Thread: Phishing problem?
-

Won't be lowering anything.
Yeaterday no matter what I clicked, including "visit this unsafe site anyway" it would only show the red screen.
Today I'm in.
Tapatalk is OK for the short term.
But was getting stressed!
Not perfect but all good now. Thanks,

Unfortunately, removing the Google phishing flag is non-trivial.

I, for one, am still in a position where I can't really use the forums. Every time I load a page, it prompts me to confirm that it's ok, but when I do it takes me to the home screen. I'm using my phone to post this, which is a huge pain.
Not to be pushy or anything, but, just for the sake of saying it, this will cause me to leave the forums if it is unresolvable.

Safari on iPad and iPhone is fine. Just tried Chrome on the iPad with a google search for "woodworkforum" and it brought up this site in search with the heading "this site may be hacked"

As Steven posted earlier in this thread, he is working with Google to resolve this.
Chucking hissy fits won't speed up that process even a little bit, but I guess it will make some people feel better.
I only get the big red screen first thing in the morning when I log on from a bookmark (Firefox). I then click on ignore warning and I report the site as being safe to Firefox.
For the rest of the day I can use the forum as per normal.
So, my advice is to read ALL the instructions on the big red screen.
I say once again, our guru Steven is working on it and hopefully this gets resolved sooner rather than later.

Fred, has the forum format been changed to an earlier format ie. No furniture section - now back in Big?

I just got the red warning screen in both Safari and Firefox.
You've got ten minutes to fix this or I'm gone FOREVER!!!!
Actually, I think I can wait for you guys to fix it.

Not happening at all in IE11 or Edge. Norton also reports as safe.

In 25,000 words or less, please do describe how you "drop your security down a notch."
Seems that's a auto-task that I need not mess with 10 times a day.
Thank you.
More importantly, who reported this as a deceptive site? Big uncle is hoping for
a novel hunting season.
