    Easy...
Look at the queue outside the florists!
I puzzled over that one, but SWMBO came to the rescue again (it's getting to be a slightly irritating trait). I mean, how was I to know 14 Feb was valentine's day?

However, not too much evidence of flowers there. They might have been over-watered. Were the people onlookers or waiting for the bus?

Ok, must have had a touch of the deja vu's or old timer's. I'll give it to Bushy for his explanation of the date (which may or may not be true).

That's very kind of you Alex, particularly as I only commented on Pugwash's explanation of the date.

I'll step back from this in case you want to review the winner. However if you want your decision to stand I will graciously accept as SWMBO says I don't accept praise well, which I suppose makes a change to not accepting criticism well!

They are all good. I was tempted to award an equal first prize and allow the first picture in as best dressed.

I really liked Bob's lumberghini and then all the derivatives, but TL's handling characteristics struck a chord (oooh... inadvertent firewood imagery).

    Away you go TL
