Removing Old Finish from Turned Legs
Hi All,
As many of you already know, I am restoring a circa 1910 table with beautiful turned legs - which attracted me in the first place to the piece.
Thanks to tips recieved on this forum, I am having great success in removing the old finish. However, are there any tips for getting old finish out of finer parts of turned legs i.e. there are "ball" shapes with fine lines through them.
Appreciate, as always, any assistance given.
Ciao for now.

Thanks for that Neil - excellent source of information ! ! As always ! !
Did you received my email earlier this week? I asked what you would recommend as a finish on the legs. I have purchased your hard shellac for the table top.
I am so rapt with all the information everyone has forwarded.
Ciao for now.
