lift and re-use silkwood floorboards
Hi folks,
starting a renovation which will mean altering the floor plan. we've got boral silkwood boards down at the moment (floating) and wondered about the feasibility of lifting the boards and re-using them once the layout is finalised?
Is this a wise move? How hard is it to lift and separate the boards? Will I have to remove all glue before relaying? I've got a spare box of boards and the overall floor space will be less than is currently installed (cutting out concrete in floor to install spiral stairs) so a few damaged boards shouldn't be a problem
Thanks for any advice, this is a great forum!
