I need to finish a table top on a previously unfinished slab of Huon Pine it is still in raw state and still to be sanded. Dimensions 1700mmX650MM.
I have had previous suggestions, but some of the recommended finishes are only available in large quantities and I am unlikely to use it all before it goes off.
Does anyone have any suggestions knowing the high oil content of the stuff and the problems with getting finishes to stick to it?
