G'day from Wagga Wagga
G'day, I'm Chris, I am another newbie to this site and woodworking in general. I am a mechanic by trade and worked on cars for 10 years of my life, now in the retail aspect of the automotive trade but would love to do an apprenticeship in cabinetry one day. I have managed to make some small builds around the house including some bedsides and chest of drawers and I'm as excited as ever to build some larger projects such as book cases and outdoor setting in the near future. Very much looking forward to chatting to you all and gaining some knowledge on my way. Cheers

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Chris".
There are a lot of members across New South Wales, Victoria, Sth Aust plus rest of the country & the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork ..
Cheers crowie
PS - most of the folk on the forum aren't woodie's by trade but just people who like working with work.....enjoy...
