    Default Hello from Melbourne Australia!

    Hello all!

Just like to introduce myself.. My name is Kieran, I'm 22 and just reached second year in my wood machining apprenticeship. I have got to say though that I love it!! It's something that I have wanted to do for a few years now.

I work for Schiavello in Melbourne and machine office furniture. I currently run the CNC Morbidelli U550 at work, which i find is really fascinating!! learning a lot about products, programming, tooling and so on.

Last year I won the award for young achiever at work so i must be doing something right :P

I've joined to get inspiration on ideas, and home projects. I have a few things planned to do this year and would love to post pics/plans to get feedback that i can learn from.

Thanks everyone! and hope to get to know some of you better as the years go on

    Thumbs up

G'day Keiran and welcome to our shed.

Ok, CNC and computers are one thing but do you know how to use a saw?
