i havent used this myself so cant say how well it works
i also think theymean use the outer green skin as well as the shell and nut
i know they turn very black when they rot on the ground

anyone around Brisbane / Logan City with a walnut tree ? This thread is sounding easier the longer it gets. Where can you get walnuts around here ?

I buy the dried walnut from supermarkets, remove the shell and let it sit in 1 liter of boiling water with a few spoons of baking soda. I let the mixture sit for a few days.

What woods do you use it on.
What kind of pieces have you used it on, interior or exterior.
How long have you been using the stain, and have you had any fading of color.
What coatings have you use over the stain.
Have you ever added this stain into a coating.
