Australian strine today is not quite what A Weird Mob remember it as. Nowadays it is more likely to be something like:

    Contemporary:

Wassuuuupppp dog, Im down wid dat. U cool wid me. Dats phat dog, im hip wid dat bling bling

    Strine:

Gidday mate, whats happening. No worries, reckon your watch is pretty flash.

    English:

Hello, how are you. I am well. Is that a Rolex?

    Internet:

LOL Roflmao brb cu l8er, watch

If the truth be known Albury is a character in a W. Somerset Maugham novel. And he drinks lashings of ginger beer and loves to give old Pip Pip a jolly good rodgering, say what!

Ahh, it appears I was wrong. Albury is not part of Australia after all.

Anyone seen the plans to seceede Victoria? Apparently all the other states got together and planned to line the Victorian border with dynamite. The blast would seperate Vic into a largish island that could then be towed to a spot just south of New Zealand. Serious. I've seen the Govt document proposing it.

    Cheers

    Default Republic of Victoria

    Daddles,

BRING IT ON! Can't wait to move!

Then we wouldn't have to waste all that money supporting your bit of desert. Is it true that the state capital is now Baxter DC? Is it safe to swim in the sea yet with killer sharks or do you all go out to Olympic Dam for a wash?

    Gentlemen and others (christopha)

I have been following this thread and have come to the conclusion that Mathewa is actually the long lost RANDY

    remember him:

    http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...isplay.php?f=7

    and

    http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...ighlight=randy

    and
    http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...ighlight=randy

    and then

    http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...ighlight=randy
I try and do new things twice.. the first time to see if I can do it.. the second time to see if I like it
