9 lb 1 oz, Wow that is one big boy!!
Your never too young to be a grandfather
I have 3 grandsons and the oldest has just turned 8 and I am only 50 and I can imagine there are members that are young grandparents as well
So you can never be too young !!
I also feel sorry for the old pharts who are too old to play with their grandkids

Congrats Shorty
You know the worst thing about being a grandfather is that you have to sleep with a grandmother.

Never to young to be a grandfather, so be proud !!!
I was 54 when the first arrived, now I have 7 grandkids, 5 boys, 2 girls.
One of the boys, age 9, love it to do turnings on my lathe.

My opinion is that one is never too young to be a grand-parent. Congratulations, and I hope all is well.

It's not so bad, I'm 51 with three of the little rug-rats - think of them as growing apprentices.
Congratulations.Dragonfly

Shorty,
Never to young to be a grandfather. A least at this point in time you'll remember their names.
My grandaughter is 8. My daughter is 7(nearly 8) and my son is 3(nearly 4). I have a great time when the are all together. Just got to remember to turn the power off in the shed. (That's their play area)
The one who is most proud is Great Grandfather (he's 84).
