    Unhappy Women

Yes, I know, a funny title for someones first thread. Usually its "Whats a mortice and tenon" or "What bandsaw should I buy", but I know what a mortice and tenon, is and I have a bandsaw.
Well, Friday I had to take the dog to the Vet in Carlingford Sydney and as the Sydneyites know, thats not far from Carbatec. So I thought I would have a look while waiting for the dog to wake up.
Browsed for about an hour, daydreamed about a drum sander and then without buying anything. ( About an hour is all my wife will take in a woodworking store)
Well it was raining fairly heavily and as my wife headed for the car she slipped on the wet concrete in the car park. Head over heels flat on her face. I helped her into the car and was then proceeding back inside. She asked what I was doing and said I was going to see the manager. She said that she was OK, but I said no - I think this is worth at least a Drum Sander to keep the insurance company happy. It was then that I realised sadly that there was more injuries I was previously not aware of. Apparently she also damaged her larynx as she was no longer capable of speech.
A very silent trip home, but I was relieved to find that on Saturday night she was recovering as I heard her mutter "tea's ready". I'm sure by the end of the weekend she will have fully recovered!!

But did they give you the drumsander? and in view of the further damage to her larynx maybe a table saw as well ?

Welcome to the board, with an opening post like that I am sure you'll fit in.

    Take my advice Woodcutta,
Remove all and I mean ALL sharp implements from the house hide them out of SWMBO's reach and start fitting out the shed as permanent quarters.

Oh and do not actually swallow any foods prepared by her as digitalis(a preferred poison of annoyed females) has no taste.
