Brisbane firms
G'Day. I'm interested in anything wood related. At the moment I'm discovering Brisbane's proud furniture making past and present. I know about the large firms and am seeking info on others. Does anyone know about R.MacAulay and Co. in Brissie? I have an old post office directory and have been lookin up names.

G'day Wacko and a big welcome to you.
Sadly many of the firms have closed their doors due to the competition from our northern neighbours, or even shifted their workshops to China.
A good person to contact would be Robert Dunlop. He is a great bloke and is still in business building beautiful furniture.
Does your interest extend to termites?
