Toowoomba Turnout
Would anyone be interested in a get together near Toowoomba (Qld)?
It'd be an opportunity to show off, and learn some new stuff.
And it won't be just for turners!

Alrighty, We have:
- Captain Funky Chicken
- Sir Ivan in Oz
- Lady Ruffly of Rustic (hopefully)
Also... There's a question of where... Cause we could hold it at my joint but it's a little small and grubby. (one day I'll get a shed)
My lathe is moveable (45kg) so it's not restricted to my workshop

I'm in if weekend suits. I could possible host it if no one else wants to. We could have a wood fired pizza day, but keep that bit a secret. See photos in the Sourdough thread in the cooking forum.

Sorry Funky C just read your posts properly. Didn't mean to butt in on your offer to host.

I was thinking some time in February or March. You guys suggest a date.
I suggested a Saturday 'cause then we've got the whole day, but some peeps work on Saturday. And I said Sunday Afternoon cause I have stuff on in the morning. What's best for you guys?
nah it's fine.
I could move the lathe out into the sunshine... Or you guys could all cram into my workshop and ignore the dirt floor.. Nah it's not too bad. I like it
The pizza's very tempting I must say
The list:
- Funky C
- Ivan in Oz
- Ruffly (maybe)
- yaryetnom (monteyray?)
hrmm...WoodButcher is in toowoomba...

I'm a possible, if not called in to work on the day, have enough petrol and manage to fight off shyness
(and being female, if I am able to navigate there
)Be nice to put faces to names.

My vote is for late March, but I'm open to other dates, I quite like the trips to Toowoomba.
My only hold back is I have 2 uncles on death beds (cancer) so I am on call for support duties and funeral arrangements.
