    Default Finishing American Oak

    Hi

I have been playing on my wood lathe and have turned a mini baseball bat using American Oak while the rain continues to soak the soil on the Sunshine Coast. I would like any advice as to the best finishing technique with such a course grain. I am using Canubra clear wax and it seems great - any other ideas?

    Many thanks
