It was a good day. I enjoyed the wood chopping events.
Tonight is the bush dance.
Didn't see any NSW or QLD number plates and didn't see anyone resembling those in the photo - coincidence or not?- Wood Borer

ok here we go
a few pics from the Tolmie sports
I was NOT a happy photographer, you see i have TWO batteries for my digital camera Jut incase one runs out during the day this would make good sense if the last person to use the camera actually CHARGED the flat one up. The end story was two flat batteries after about an hour. So I hope wood borer has some gooduns.
Had to leave about 3.00pm as we went to Shepp to see comedian Danny Boy. Hes a funny man, If he comes your way go see the show.

A few more.
The ABC had a film crew and helicopter up there. Unfortunatly they decided to take off during the speechifiying and do two circuits before heading off.
I missed out on getting photos of "Mr Stunningly Handsome" running the BASH THE RAT stall sorry.
also got a biff in the ear for entering mumpad in the married ladies race but was forgiven when she realised it was directly after the prime bucks race, so effectivly she would be chasing the prime bucks. ( thats not true but never let the truth get in the way of a good yarn)
I feel this day would be a good opportunity for some wood workeres to set up a lathe and do a display next year. Maybe sell a few bits and pieces.
