Rain ...........
Bluddy ripper ...... 12mm (48 points) in the last hour. Neighbours playing football in the street, both tanks overflowing, great smell. Could get a good sleep tonight if the RH stays low. Aaaahh, lovely. And it dropped 11C in the hour.

Good gravy - it actually made it here to "The Downs" for once, rather than skirting around us. Waking to the sound of rain is a luxury these days!

I went to work at Graigieburn which is 25 minutes from here and it was persisting down, rang the missus to say we may be heading home.
Why? she asks, cause its peeing down says I.
Anyway we packed up and got drenched, now Im sitting at home and its hardly raining here.
The rain stopped about 15 minutes from home..

Do you reckon this mean water restrictions will be lifted? Somehow I doubt it.
