Last time I saw Gumby he wanted to give me the tip. I declined.
Not a bad last wicket partnership. 40 runs for the 10 and 11 pair. Highest partnership of the innings.Photo Gallery

Well we have one and a half hands on the Ashes.
It would take a freakin' miracle for the Poms to win this game from here and contrary to pommy belief Freddie Flintstone does not walk on water.
Which has been abundantly illustrated over the past month.
Now the Aussies have to go for 5 nil.

I was feeling a bit sorry for Freddie, but then I thought (particularly after seeing Denesar's efforts) that once again England had failed to utilise their resources with forsight and ingenuity, in the face of a foe who is known for exactly this trait. Freddie tried, but not hard enough and once again England shall snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. (Just like Adelaide.) Freddie is the public face of this fracas and as we all know, the poms do not like to lose.

What a lot of nonsense.
If they hadn't underestimated the opposition, if they hadn't all realised they were awarded an MBE on the strength of a series win by two wickets, (yes, I remember the second test last year), if they hadn't built him up..... well if they'd won, he'd be a hero for playing the same way as he is at the moment.
cheers,
P
