If you are not fond of extreemly hard yakka - digging them out with pick & shovel, a LARGE Caterpiller dozer with a rip blade should put paid to Bugs & his mates, just get the local dam digger to drive over the warrens with the ripper blade down & all is sealed away for future archeologists.

Then you have to keep the fences rabbit proof & keep an eye out for any that learn how to fly
