Request for Leave.
Dear Mr UBeaut,
My son, Termite will be unable to participate in your forum from 6AM Friday 10th Feb until approx 3PM Monday 13th Feb. The quarterly gathering of the clan is occuring over the weekend and, although normally held at Termite's Nest, it is occuring at his Sister in Law's place at Smith Lake just south of Forster.
While this is only a 2 1/2 hour drive North for him he will need some time to recover from the gettogether if his last visit there was any indication of his possible condition. He said it was stress, but how you could be stressed in tree shaded surroundings right on the edge of a lake. I personally thing it was over indulgence in fermented redgum juice followed by him and his BIL developing a taste for French Oak in which had been stored something called Cognac.
He has requested that everybody else keeps working so as to ensure the continuation of the fortnightly Termite Support Fund and thanks you all for your efforts.
Mr UBeaut, I feel sure you will grant him the leave he desperately needs.
signed
My Mother.

I believe an appropriate comment would be - pith off mate
... though perhaps I need to reconsider a more delicate wording

Have a good one, don't foget to take your pith helmet if you are going to pith off to a pith up to get pithed.
Cliff.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonay in one hand - Strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming - "WOO WOO...What a ride"
