Time to go and see Brokeback Mountain, know how they feel all the time
Trust you get over it soon, I had a haemmeroid (sp) lanced a few years ago and that was painfull enough.
I often wonder why something the size of a small pea feels like a tractor innertube hanging outStupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Dave, get well soon. Enjoy the rest (and hopefully painkillers?).
The rest of you, I just ate dinner and I'd like it to go out where you are so colourfully explaining if you don't mind...

DG mate I know how you feel... nov 04 I had an op to remove a ingrown hair that turned into a cyst.
The hair had grown inwards and grown around my spine(tail bone...)
I only discovered it after popping the cyst at the gym on a leg press pushing 360kg's, the doc reckoned it was there for at least 10yrs to be that size... they removed all of it, the size of a baseball!(the amount they removed not the size of the cyst)
I didnt return to work until Aug 05 and then remained on light dutys for 2mths(yep thats 9mths out of action)and I still cant ride my bike or sit in one position for more than 1/2hr. I've been back at the gym now since oct05 and only just getting back to 360kg's on the leg press!
1 good thing become of it tho... because I couldnt sit for long I had a great excuse to take up wood work... now it just about dictates my life, I do much OT to pay for my WW habit!(nuthin wrong with that eh!)....................................................................

DavidG,
I just tried to send you a greenie to make up for the reddie i sent you last week. With that amount of infection in your system you would not have been thinking clearly and would have been in a lot of pain as well. The system wont let me send you a greenie just yet but i will send you one soon. all the best for the recovery and keep the feet in the right place

Thanks Doug.
Recovery going well if you mean a nurse coming round each day and shoving a new piece of gauze up the hole in me .
They recon it will be 6 weeks before it heals fully. No motor bike (we will see)
