Something that may help forums
Have arranged for a trial of AI Targeted Traffic for the site. From a mob who say they have thousands of people looking for what we offer here.
Have 7 days trial and IF it works will give it a run for a few months to see what happens.

CheersNothing to lose by giving it a try and who knows, could be some good gains from it. Will find out in a few days. This eternal sceptical optimist will believe it if and when he see it.
The forums are back in Under Attack Mode once again, after having a few days with well over 20,000-25,000 users (AIBots) all hitting the site at the same time. Are you a registered member? Why not? Click here to register. It's free and only takes around 40 seconds!

sounds like AI targets will no doubt send more AI bots here to bump up the thread count
why hasn't the forums started a dedicated FB page yet? its literally where the people are. Get the AI overlord bots with facebook accounts to search the forums for what ever is posted in the facebook post questions and get it to send a link to any relevant forum post.
at least you might get some genuine traffic that way

I can't help thinking the mob who are organising the AI to identify potential punters will come across like spam with this website seeming like the source of the spam. I hope I'm wrong.

They are not sending AI bots or peoples but targeted traffic of people who are looking for what we have here. Basically the same as Google listing stuff in their search engines only sort of in reverse where the AI is finding/targeting web surfers, or others searching for what we have.sounds like AI targets will no doubt send more AI bots here to bump up the thread count
Hope I'm explaining it correctly. Basically it's traffic not supplies by standard type search engines like Google and all the others.
Under Attack Mode was implemented on here again because we were getting hit with between 20,000 to 25,000+ all on line all at the same time... yet again.
At least Reno isn't be hit by dozens of a holes posting adult dating sites that have been hitting WWF (all caught before being seen... so far)
As for Face book. I will talk to Steven about that and see what he reckons. I don't use it but do have a FB page for U-Beaut Polishes that I don't think does anything much for our sales. I'm open to any and all options but will see what this trial comes up with first. Don't think anything's going to be a big help without posters on here to generate new content for genuine search engines.
