Painting rendered fibre cement board.
Hi everyone,
I'm wondering what to paint my garage wall. Its rendered fibre cement board. Rendered with Dunlop acrylic render.
Do I just use something like dulux 3 in 1 undercoat then weathershield render refresh?
Or should I go all out with acratex product or rockcote of some type?
Thanks
Ben

I would choose what top coat product you want to use for the finish, then follow the manufacturers guide for surface preparation to get it ready for the final finish.
Do not mix manufacturers products if you want a long term result.
Using additional textured products should only be required if you are unhappy with the existing texture.
