FORUM MELTDOWN Wed 7th May
Well, we had a complete shut down of all 3 forums, plus our U-Beaut Online Shop as well as anything and everything else ubeaut.com.au related.
This was thanks to a spam/scam/phishing post from Metalwork forums that we weren't quick enough to pickup.
All has been restored now after a many hours of angst, frustration, gnashing of teeth andand the help of Steven.
I ask members to please report anything that looks vaguely like spam, scam or any other ne'er do well post(s) to report it/them as soon as you see them to help to keep the forums safe from the scourge of the lowlife mongrels intent on ruining the internet for all.
See my signature below for how to report these posts and threads. It's dead easy and only takes a few seconds to do.
Cheers - Neil

Yeah... sorry about that.
I couldn't get on to the forum to respond or even see your post. Was a bit busy trying to sort out the problem across all 3 forums due to WWF being hit buy somewhere around 36,000+ bots per minute (around 600+ per second), having to find and stop thousands mass attack IP's, shutdown/remove their permissions, remove SEO program from WWF to slow down the bot attacks, along with managing a massive attempted influx of AI spammers, scammers and other ne'er-do-well on WWF which all in turn had the affect of slowing down all 3 forums to a crawl as all are hosted on the same server.
So your post was totally missed by me until I saw your reply 1/2 an hour ago now. I'm presuming DJ had trouble getting on the site as well and I'm guessing... by the time he was able to get on the problem(s) were already resolved.
Best thing in a case like that if you don't get a response is to report your post and either DJ on myself will be notified by email as to the problem and respond as soon as able.
We can only do what we can do and it isn't always possible to respond to a problem on Reno or MWF in a timely manner in the midst of the maelstrom that is affecting everything at once especially when we are trying to deal with fix the problem whilst having the same problems getting online with a server so overwhelmed that it has dropped to a pathetically slow crawl and keeps timing out for us as for everyone else.
