Welcome! I was living in Narre Warren for ~10 years, but recently moved slightly country, so that wouldn't be my local anymore. Are the "wood turning" clubs all about lathe/turning things, or do they work on other woody things like toys and furniture too? I have no particular interest in turning (yet?) - will leave that until I'm older

    Hey Lyricnz,

    Thank you for the welcome!

I did not see this message until now. The Berwick club that I am apart of have lathes and other wood machines. Like table saw, bandsaw, router table, router arm thingo, many sanders, drop and draw saw.... And of course like 4 lathes. They primarily make toys for disadvantaged children, and members can also make their own thing. I think a while back they made many rocking horses too!

    Cheers,

    Bernard
