powered full face shields

I have the Cleanspace 2 half-face powered mask and I'm very happy with it. Not sure how much the full-face model is, but worth a look.

Just over $1300; unfortunately, the base filter unit is only for the half-face, so you have to fork out double for the Ultra model.

Thanks for the suggestions. I wear glasses so I dont think this type of system will be suitable as it appears to seal around the face?

Ah, yes that would probably rule it out. Unless you get yourself a pair of those glasses that just clip on your nose with no arms

I use a full face positive pressure mask of vintage status. Though I cannot speak specifically on your selected model, I can speak generally as to the effects on dry eyes.
I have lens replacements in both eyes and total corneal grafts in both eyes also. Prior to the surgeries I had to wear scleral contact lenses to have any reasonable sight. All of these conditions cause severe eye dryness. Add to this a constant dry air flow across the face and you have a very uncomfortable environment. Enter eye lubricants. Now these come in a myriad of different forms; some drops, some cream, some grease, some non preservative added, some with preservative, etc, etc.
Now the trick is to pick one that suits you. The important criteria here is a product that does not cause eye irritation, allows clear vision soon after application and lasts for a respectable length of time. I use PolyVisc eye ointment and Bion Tears eye drops. There are longer lasting eye drops than Bion Tears but I find they tend to give blurred vision or irritate the eye. this of course is just a personal thing and you may well have a better experience.
I only use the polyvisc first thing and then the bion tears every couple of hours during a day behind the mask. In hot,dry weather I will recharge with polyvisc at lunch time.
Works great and I have no problem with dry eyes from the mask.
