Sound proof the shed? Here are some ideas....
We all talk of dust collectors and invisible dust which is bad for your health, but so is noise.
I hate noise and trying to do the right thing by neighbours and others in the house can be a balancing act....
This video on setting up a sound studio may prove enlightening. Very overboard for the shed, studio or workshop, but the information is practical and useful:

Nothing really new in that video. Two layers, one of soft (air carrying) insulation to absorb sound and one a of hard/ heavy (drywall or gyprock) to reflect sound.
The room they showed was one that needed sound kept out of so the opposite of a room or shed you want to retain the sound inside. That's why they used those special "high hat" clips on the inside wall. To retain sound in an enclosure it's better if the wall on the outside is heavy and rigid to reflect sound back into the enclosure. Of course a flexing wall would be useful inside a shed but most shedders would want their walls to be able to bear a load.
Because it's relatively cheap, Gyprock (especially a double layer) would be useful as the inside wall of a noise reducing enclosure but it ts not much use on the outside.

If you want to soudproof your shed your bulk insulation of choice and 15mm MDF takes a lot of beating. ... and it will stay way cooler.
cheersAny thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
Most powertools have sharp teeth.
People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.

Once had a neighbour who was deaf as a post & played the piano VERY LOUDLY.
Insulated the party wall with egg trays and cork tiles. Worked OK but should have used a double layer of egg trays!
MarkWhat you say & what people hear are not always the same thing.

This site here Soundproofing Products - Soundproof Walls, Ceilings, Floors, Bedrooms is a good reference point for insulating for sound.
Normal ( thermal ) insulation will keep most of the mid-range sound out but the proper acoustic insulation batts will keep more of the higher ( your average screaming saw ) and lower end out too. Then there are the resilient mounts, battens and two layers of offset Soundchek plasterboard with green glue between as well for a final layer. It really comes down to how much you want to spend and how much noise you want to keep inside the shed.

You had to send her? I've only got to say "can you hold this steady for me" to make mine disappear.

Come on Albert, your shed is impressive enough without you bragging about your wife as well - how jealous do you want us to be
