Dave and family,
you our all have had a hectic stressful time, if you don't mind a little advice from an old bloke, when you get home, take a little time out. I would call it some "you time", time to refresh, reflect, do something different that you always wanted to do but felt there were too many other pressing things that needed doing - they will still be there but are perhaps not as urgent as you think.
After you and yours recharge the batteries, all of those "pressing" things will get done quicker and better.Regards,
Bob

I have one more trip somewhere in the coming weeks. As he was cremated the ashes have not been released yet.
He will be placed in a wall at a cemetary somewhere near Southerland. I will go back for that but hoping tonleave Friday night and be home for work Monday.
I will travel alone for this one

The two auctions we ran to raise funds were extremely successful. The pen blank raised $300 and was won by Hiroller while the pen raised $160 and was won by Rod Gilbert. Congratulations to both of you.
However I would also like to thank all those who participated as this is what made the auctions the success that they were. in the pen blank auction the roll of honour was:
FlettyG
George mavridis
Mobyturns
Oldgreybeard
mannum3
hiroller
and in the pen auction
Pac man
keltrader
Chrism3
Lovetoride
Xanthorrehoeas
Bob38s
Rod Gilbert
Of course neither of these auctions were possible without the generosity of Mapleman and Ironwood. Fantastic ideas, good products and we saw the results: Just magic.
Thank you all so much for helping a mate.
Regards

Bed and board
G'day Dave
I live about 5k from Woronora Cemetery at Sutherland, and have a spare bed etc. ready for you if required.
Let me know the date and we can make arrangements. I might even let you play on my new lathe if there is a bit of time to spare. I have fond memories of the GTG at Jerilderie, and it would be great to catch up with you.
