    revenge, I LOVE revenge
At three in the morning when you have been talked into baby sitting for the night and the 15 month old whose getting two new teeth and has a minor cold ( that you will catch) decides once more that sleep is unnecesary,
The revenge you can get on your kids fades into insignifiance as he throws up the extra ice cream you gave him at tea.

And the worst part is that when they ask you to look after him again you jump at the chance cause he always runs to you and hugs you and your the only one in whose lap he will go to sleep.

    Old dogs and children...

I don’t mind growing old, it sure beats the alternative.

Yes, but I'll be the one GIVING him back, not TAKING him back. What do they say about joy being in the giving not the receiving?

My youngest is four - grandkids are not only a long way off, but not even remotely scary.

Two kids Ash. He's 12, she's 4. Yeah, he could be bringing the grandkids around in a year or two, but not if he's anything like his Dad, which he appears to be.

Cause the benifits of grand kids far outway the the loss of sleep etc ...
