FYI... This is the response I got from Consumer Affairs Vic:

    Default Our camper trailer saga

We paid for our trailer in November 09. It was delivered soon after but had the wrong size tent on it. I informed Scott and he came and collected the trailer to fit the correct size tent (big mistake).
It has taken until now with many, many phone calls, delays, and lots of stress (as the rest of you all know about) but finally with much patience my trailer was delivered this past weekend.
Many times I thought I had done my dough but I hung in there because I had no other choice.
I do believe that Scott is doing his best to resolve the mess he has got himself into. I don't want to get into any chat over this. I just wanted to let you all know that there is hope for you. Good luck with it.

Thanks Rani for joining and seeing that you had some Goodluck.. I think that this forum has been quiet for a little to long and it is about time to get the ball to start rolling again..
So what is the Goss out there.. Is anyone else getting there trailers etc?????????

I dont believe that Scott is doing his Best to reslove the situation as he is still constantly lying to buy himself more and more time.. I know this from experience.

Rani you are one of the lucky ones as you only bought your trailer in Nov 09 and recieved it then returned it and got it back.. That was a miracle in itself..

I kinow you dont want to get into chat over this but I am just airing my opinion on your post.

I do hope and pray everyday that all the others will get there trailers or refund SOON.
People have been waiting since August 09 and still dont have there trailer so you are lucky and people have the right to be angry at that and to not give up as if we all do this, then he has just got away with complete Fraud on all accounts..

I know myself, i will not stop hassling him until he gives me what he owes us as it is righfully mine and he knows that..
I had the wrong tent on one of my trailers also but I am to scared to send it back as I know that I will never see it again as it will be sold to someone else.. It is a very viscious circle that he has created.

I hope there are some other Good stories out there that people have gotten theirs also..

    Anyway Ciao for now..

I passed the premises in Champion Rd on Friday. No sign of any activity - just the sign referring to Altona CIB.
The front doors were damaged as though there might have been a ram raid.

We have made the offical complaint to the Victorian authourities only to be informed that there is nothing they can do to assist us as Scott has opted to continue to trade his way out of the mess he has created.

This of course is really frustrating for us seeing as we are the ones who have lost the money and havent received the goods yet this little imitation of a man continues.....how is this fair.

We have had several of "yeah mate i promise i will deposit the money into your account" (i am sure you all may have experienced these) only to our NOT surprise the money never arrives.

Next step is through the legal court system. We are at the point now that it has become a matter of principle than more about the money.......

We would love to hear from anyone who has had a miracle from the squid and got some satisfaction.

I thought l would give Scott a chance but no he has blown it. l have received legal advise and the next time we meet will be in court. Costs and time can be reduced if a class action is taken against him for fraud, ie: receiving monies without supplying the goods . Dont believe him at all when he says he has nothing, as he will be found out on his day of judgement.

Unfortunately, if you do get him to respond all he will do is feed you a sob story. Forget it and start legal action. This will take time and money so if serious enough grab more of "the conned" and all should support a class action. l believe he may be in Werribee, Vic, somewhere but not confirmed, ideally we need to know if someone has collected a trailer from any premises that he has operated out of and its whereabouts.

I would have to agree that people who have still not received their trailers at all or as promised would be best advised to take legal action ASAP. I cannot stress this enough . The only reason that this company is still in business is the fact that the proprietor has been successful in fobbing people off.

Make no mistake that the true underlying reason for the non delivery of goods in these cases is almost always due to financial difficulties or mismanagement by the business concerned. This means that if the company goes into liquidation today ( or if the proprietor is forced to file for bankruptcy) there will probably be not enough left to make restitution, after deducting the hefty liquidator fees.

The best chance of getting anything is by making the biggest noise, and legally there is no bigger noise than a writ issued by a court. You can do this yourselves by using the facilities of the Small Claims Tribunal, or by going to a solicitor. If you do the former, make sure you have a record of all the interactions with the company . Then as a precursor to issuing the writ through the Tribunal, send a written final demand for payment to be made within 7 days for the refund of all moneys paid, or legal action will be commenced without further action.

Any form of group action ( other than group legal action) may expose the dreadful business practices of this company, but it won't get your money back. It is too easy for shady operators that get "exposed" to simply close down and open somewhere else under another name with another shell company, leaving the former customers stranded. The only reason this guy hasn't paid is that he has felt less pressure to do so from you than he has from other customers. Its time to change all that.

This is the address that i had him traced to and he has been building and selling trailers out of, 64 Riverside ave, Werribee. The shed has two doors, they are working out of the left one.
