Blueboard wall and Porters liquid iron...
Hello all,
I am building a screen/water feature in the backyard. I plan on blueboarding the entire screen, stacked stone water wall and remainder to be finished with Porters liquid iron (Rust look paint). The screens frame will be 'boxed' in blueboard, so will therefore have to patch all the external corners too.
My concerns are:
- What to finish the blueboard joins with. Patching compound, waterproof base/top coat?
- Will a better finish be obtained to skim coat the entire screen so joins are not as visible in glancing light?
Has anyone ever used the Porters product in this situation? If so feedback would be appreciated.
Cheers
