Still Chewing
In case there is a faint chance that some of you have been wondering where I've been, I offer the following explanation.
My carpal tunnel problems have degenerated to the point where it is even painfull to type on the keyboard, so I have definitely not been down the shed.
All will be fixed on the 19th January when they are finally going to operate on both hands.
Kind regards to all.

Termite,
My sympathy. I had my left hand done about 6 mths ago. Very painful for a few weeks after, but nothing like b4 the surgery. Had practically no feeling in the lower 3 fingers b4, but that was fixed immediately. Good now, well worth the trouble. wish yer well son.
By the way, if ure having both hands done at once, and dressings for a while afterward, how will you...er...well....you know ????
Eddie.

Nah seriously, my old man was really bad, tried to get both hands done at once but they wouldn't, so he had one done. It took him longer to get over than he thought, but amazingly the other hand is not really bothering him. Apparently this sympathetic reaction isn't uncommon with carpal tunnel.
Tell Mrs termy she will need to look after you extra special for a few months after 19th JAn.
Good luck, and get back chewing as quick as may be.
Boring signature time again!

That must suck.
Glad to hear that there's light at the end of the tunnel, and look forward to seeing your posts when the hands are fixed.
Best of luck with it.
