Looking for carpenter, Ringwood, VIC
Hello everyone,
We are going to build a ensuite bathroom between two bedrooms.
Load bearing internal wall between these two bedrooms will need to go and two new walls need to be built instead of it.
We have been told that there are two options to go - one is hanging beam, another one will require to install a new beam over the ceiling.
One carpenter told us that hanging beam is not the best option but others suggest as a way to go. If we go with hanging beam the ceiling will be lower, right ? So we would prefer to have this beam under the roof ...
Would appreciate any kind of advice and is someone could recommend a good carpenter in Eastern part of Melborune that would be great. We are in Ringwood, VIC
Thanks

If you can get the new beam in above the ceiling and that's your preference then go with it. Depending on your exact situation it may cost a little more.
