    Default What cladding is this?

I was at an apartment open for inspection on the weekend and spotted this timber-look shiplap-style cladding. Thinking it was too uniform of grain to be real timber, at first I thought is was some kind of composite, but on tapping it, it's thin metal panelling with a timber "print". Other parts of same apartment exterior were the same stuff painted grey. I'm very interested as it'll never need attention and I'm sure it'll be lighter than other varieties.

Has anyone seen this before and, at a very outside chance, be able to name the brand or a distributor?

(From a distance I saw this complex being built and now regretting not being super nosey at the time )

Thanks. Knotwood rings a bell. I've ordered samples from both
