Ozito Jigsaw problems
I'm having problems with my 4 years old Ozito Cordless Jigsaw (PXJSS-600).
The blades won't stay locked in place. They seem to locking as usual, but they fall out after a minute or so off cutting.
I've check the locking mechanism and it appears to be moving freely. Can'T see anything stuck in the blade slot either.
Anyone else had the same or know of a fix.

The first time I heard the name Ozito, it was from a trade teacher who described them as a throwaway tool. He said if you can get them to last one job satisfactorily, then you've done well. Anything extra is a bonus.
The current price (skin only) is $65, and you've been using yours for four years. Perhaps it has had its life. Consider buying another or upgrading to a better quality item.

I agree with EF. They are made to a budget and yours has given good service. If buying the same again as "skin only", check that the battery system is the same four years on

Well I did in fact replace it. Cost me nothing as they have a Five year warranty. I did consider some of the other options available, but the replacement cost and the warranty on the Ozito won me over.
