Adhesive for window sash joints

Double-hung (spiral balance) hardwood windows, circa 1950. Each sash roughly 2 feet square. All have mortise & tenon joints, with wedges. Lower joints have suffered water damage and are very loose. No sign of any glue they presumably once had. Wedges shrunk and falling out.
I've had four of these sashes drying out in the shed for several years. Have now stripped them and patched where necessary. I'll make new wedges and I intend to pin each joint with fine dowel (probably 5mm).
I can apply glue to the wedges, but I can't get it right in to the joints, as the sashes are not dis-assembled. My question is - what's the best glue to use? Would Selleys Aquadhere Exterior be OK? Or some specialist stuff? Advice appreciated.
(PS: The windows have to last ten more years at the outside.)

I use Titebond 3 for all my sash repairs never had any issues. It’s an interior / exterior PVA so would not expect a lot of difference from the Selleys you suggest.

Never had to add dowels, if the wedges in the mortise joints are loose enough I pop them out the glue and refit. Most times it’s just wiggle the joint around to get a gap, glue clamp and wipe clean.

Look up Chair Doctor Pro. It comes with glue and various syringe sizes to inject the glue into the joints
