Cricket Announcement
The next test series England unfortunately will not have the assistance of both Janet and myself because your Mr. Murdoch as arranged that this series will not be available on terrestial TV but only available cable. We ourselves refuse to pay for TV rubbish.
So next tests should be a walk over for you aussies.woody U.K.

It seems that England not only used rain and Jow's TV to retain the Ashes. Apparently a honey trap was laid for Warnie, who fell into it (surprise, surprise). After a night of passion (with all the extras), he was out first ball the next day during the Fourth Test. Are the no depths to which Perfidious Albion will not sink?

What did they do to Hayden, Martyn, Gilly, Dizzy and Kaspar then? Bussed in a dozen Essex girls?
Gotta admire their skill in lawn bowls getting that ball under McGrath's foot too.
In retrospect, as much as it hurt, the result was the best possible for the game. Cricket revitalised in UK, some real competition (hope it lasts longer than their Rugby fizzer) each match (except the first) a real nail biter and hopefully an end to the old boys club regime in Oz cricket.
It highlighted some serious flaws in Oz cricket, Hohns and his mates got no idea - more of the same, chaps! Ponting is no sort of Captain in adversity. Last tough series was in India and Gilly captained with Ponting off sick. Vaughan did a brilliant job for the Poms.
Lastly, we need to make more use of technology. Maybe not for LBWs, cause Hawkeye is a joke, but ceratinly in other controversial areas. Remember the last match when Kurtzen gave Peitersen (in single figures) not out when the ball was caught by Hayden, probably off his foot? He refused to go to the replay and asked Bowden. Bowden was at square leg!!! Couldn't even see the foot! Also remember losing by a run when Kaspar was given out caught when his hand was not holding the bat. The LBW ratio was something like 2:1 in the Poms favour. I know they got the reverse swing, but even so..Bodgy

As unbiased as the comentators used during the test? What drivel lol.
Peterson gets 2 in the one dayer, Flintoff goes for 66 off 9 with no wickets? (at least he is a great sportsman) albiet a one day game against the best the world could put up. And on pitches that are not designed for a Pommy win.
Carn the Aussies, World Champs ad infinitem.
