Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) with a waffle slab?
Has anyone built using ICF (e.g. Thermacell) walls with a waffle slab?
The trusses would be MGP10 treated wood with a corrugated metal gable roof.
The waffle slab could be over-engineered to cope with moderate reactive clay.
Is this a viable way of doing things?
How does cost compare with timber walls, floor and subframe on piers?
Any issues?
Also, can the toilet's plumbing and water pipes exit through the wall and then down to the ground, rather than having to go underneath the waffle slab?
