Tea or Coffee eh?
Interesting...
and shed rules apply....double the coffee....halve the water
Third option is cop out, anyone who opts for that deserves to be drinkin old dishwater. If you can't make a simple choice like that how do you expect to get on in life? Really, if someone is making you a cuppa it is not any easier to make what they are having compared to making what you want:rolleyes:
I drink both dependent on where when and what types are available.
Coffee, as long as it isn't instant, otherwise I'll pass thanks.
beer for me:)
Coffee, double espresso, made with manual espresso machine using no more than 25 mL water and 14 or more g of espresso blend beans roasted more than 24 hours and less 168 hours. No sugar, Grappa correction optional.
yeah, espresso....freshly roasted and made at home.... but with sugar.:C Sorry Bob, I'm not enough of a purist yet.:D

Nice shots Martrix!
Here is some naked portafilter shots.
:licklips:drool. Ive seen those type of naked shots before. Is that a pic of your own modded portafilter?
It's coffee for me, instant or filtered, currently on about 8 cups a day.
My kids tell me it's not good for me but you know the how the old saying goes. Here for a goodtime not a long time.:tequila:
Cheers Fred
Yep I have 5 portafilters, single, double, 2 nakeds (one to take a 16 g basket) and a sealed one for cleaning and pressure testing.
20 Tons of Lemon Scented gum came into the yard today. The arborist was limited by the 3.5 tons max of the Hiab so the biggest diam (~1.3m diam) pieces are about 2.4 m long. We'll have to drag out the 48" bar to cut those. There are about 8 pieces all up including some awesome crotches with about 5 branches coming out close together.
Need I tell you? But it has to be Earle Grey. And I like Dilmar. Twinings is week as dishwater. :p No sugar, and just a drop of milk. And made with BOILING water. Not boiled 2 minutes ago.:(( It makes a difference, I'm telling you. You actually get a cup of tea that makes you go "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!", instead of wondering why you bother.
 Not AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!:doh::D
COFFEEEEEEE, nothing else than COFFEEEEE, three full pots of COFFEEEEE.
And when all these pots are empty, oh yeah than I prefer a nice cool beer.
Cheers. Ad
I once did a 27 hour job on an oil rig that had the drill pipe stuck.Started work at 3 AM and finished at 6 AM next day.How did I do it?About 30 cups of COFFEE!!Tea just doesn't cut the mustard in messed up situations like that.
Where is the 'neither option'?
Good thread... coffee all the way for me:2tsup:. Two strong ones before I go out to take a class and its go go go:D (I just finished my first for the day)
No rats ring? Shame on you Carl.
A beer is better :D

For me it's coffee. Have expresso machine, The real old style Italian model and my own blend of beans. Six dark Columbian to one vanilla beans. Ground just before using. Milk and no sugar. Just finishing my morning heart starter and then off to the workshop.

Interesting to note the difference in replies from the neurotic coffee drinkers  to the calm tea drinkers:rolleyes: , but havig said that, I like nice coffee and drink instant all day at work and have no urge to wax lyrical about it.
I prefer tea of colour. I drink Green or red or white or black.
i can remember going to a coffee importers back in the City of London many years ago and attended a coffee tasting with the expert buyers. I knew nothing and so asked questions. "Taste them in any order you like except for the end two", I was told. "We judge first on the size of the bean, the bigger the better . The end one is for the Algerian market and they have a strange taste in coffee. The other one is a small green bean called imparchimento, because it has a sort of dry skin adhering to it. It's an inferior bean used in the instant trade." I remember the Algerian coffee. To me it tasted like a mixture of boot polish and brasso.
So taste, whether it be tea or coffee, is very personal.

I have a cup of tea once every 5 years just to prove to myself that I still intensely dislike it, so coffee for me.
Ofcourse the exception is real chinese tea served in chinese reataurants whilst eating chinese food for that is a different taste altogether.
Peter.

A good strong coffee - and by good I do not mean anything that's sold as "Instant."
I used to enjoy black tea... but I was cured of that (in the workshop at least) when I accidentally picked up a mug of thinners I'd earlier cleaned my finishing brush in. :yuk::tooth:
As an ex shift worker.... Coffee at all times and normally quite a few.
But when feeling crook.... a tea and then when feeling better.... back to coffee. Oh and when its past 5 its the juice of the vine!!!!:;
Big mug of real coffee after breakfast while I do the cryptic, another one at the end of the day. Sometimes, a cup of peppermint tea about 9pm.
