Why have the columns for thread title and forum been centre-aligned in the New Posts display?
That is the most unreadable of all text justifications ... very slow to look down the list to find threads of interest.
Please change it back.

+1
Thanks
They are on the left in my display
Something changed overnight. I've got centred columns for the thread title and the forum name, which wasn't the case yesterday.
I'm using IE7. Which browser are others using?
Hate It!!!:((:((:((:((:((:((
Looks like it's only affecting IE. I use Firefox and it's all left-aligned but I just checked it in IE7 and it's centred as you say.
The problem appears to be the presence of an orphaned DIV tag just after the BODY tag.
It reads:
{div align="center"}
Remove this statement and everything formats correctly.
Have bought this to the attention of Admin. In the meantime can someone post a screenshot of what you're getting as it doesn't seem to be affecting all of us and what Browser you're using.
Screen print.
It is just the Wiki-Blog default scheme that does it in IE7.
Firefox screenprint
Edit:
I hate the picture upload part of this software, it is totally brain dead!
It complained about the size of my screen dump, so I made it samller (600x651pixesl, 89 kb), go figure!:
Edit 2:
Changed to Wiki scheme, mad it smaller, it works.
Looks like your problem is IE7 Ron.
Firefox
BigShed, the problem is bad HTML, not IE7. Someone changed something last night, and they didn't do it properly. My guess is that they only checked it on one browser, and that browser was probably Firefox.
A couple of errant tags were missed when the Banner heading was removed.
Should be good now.
Not yet, ... in fact, I think it is spreading. I changed to another skin and the problem was OK for a while, but now those columns have gone centred also.
While we're having a whinge, why did admin (or whoever) remove the quick navigation field at the bottom of the screen? It's a pain in the gluteus maximus having to go back up top and go through two more pages to get to the next forum.....
:~
Cheers,
Nope, it is still not fixed in the Wiki-Blog default skin.
All other skins look fine to me in IE7.
That's better ... think we're fixed now :)
Whinge, moan, complain, grizzle, sob, sob, it's all gone wrong, the world's coming to an end, I can't handle it this way, oh me oh my.
ALL FIXED!
Nothing, not a word, silence, phew, life hasn't come to an end.
Thank you Neil. :2tsup:
thank you neil:2tsup:
But I LIKED it centred!
(runs away...):D
Thanks Neil!
Noticed how much faster the forums are running and loading lately.Quote:

All very well and good on a small forum, but server intensive on a bigun. There are a number of nifty things like that which make life easier and make it quicker to find stuff but most are extremaly server intensive and slow things down dramatically.
Just tried it out took all of 5 seconds. What an impost. Time it took to complain about it you could have probably done it a few doden times. Sorry to be cynical, but hey......Quote:

Want a job as a moderator.
No.... Seriously.
Neil - :U
Was all OK for me, :2tsup:
I don't use the Wiki-Blog skin or the quick nav stuff.
OK, Ok, Neil, it was just a whinge! :C
Now I know there's a reason, I'm perfectly happy to sacrifice a bit of expedience for the greater good...........
Ok again - but gimme 6 months to a year, for the reasons I explained. I promise I will volunteer before the year is out.... :)
Avagoodone,
We'll hold you to that!!!Quote:
