Someone requested me (I know I know) to start another silly thread to celebrate the end of a hard working week. So c’mon guys please jump in. :D

Do you put the toilet seat up or down?:D

Personally I think a toilet with its seat down has very little artistic value. It is just as bad as having a convertible but never open the roof.

And imagine someone has just done a big one and all the juicy particles are trapped under the seat. Don’t you just hate to have a shock?

It is Friday and you can only get sillier. :D

women always complain that men never put the seat down , but have you ever tried to get a woman to close the lid :rolleyes:

Look at it a different way men. I always lift the seat for #1 (too cold for #2):eek: but also always put seat and lid down. Then, she has to always lift something up too, even stevens.:p

I'm having a 'good' Friday. I have managed to get someone to buy me a C12 Drill, :D , and if all goes to plan I will have a all paid trip to Switzerland within a month.:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Every now and then I am reminded why I married SWMBO.

A new bride was bitching to SWMBO that her husband always left the seat of the toilet up after he had a and that this was inconsiderate. SWMBO replied (showing that feminism when properly implemented is a great thing) "What is it about the hinge that you don't understand? If it goes up for him, you can make it go down for you...!"

Don't you blokes have verandahs?

Proper use of the edge of the verandah will avoid all necessity to touch the nasty dirty toilet seat.

OK method until the young fella whips it out for a wee - at a kids party at our new neighbours new house! Bloody funny.:D

The Ganges is another example of not needing a toliet seat.

I don't have to GAFF about an SWM(S)BO any more, so it's seat up or down depending on need :D

A slight detour: there was a bar in Carteret, Normandy, that I used to go to that had the men's "facilities" behind a plastic strip curtain, adjacent to the bar counter - and women had to go through the same curtained doorway and pass behind any chaps standing there to get to their space.

Noone thought it even slightly odd, but this was in France :)

Further into the more rural regions it wasn't uncommon to find that the dunny was a multi-sex single stall (door optional) with just a hole, a pole to hang onto if necessary. The better class establishments even provided a few scraps of newspaper...

"Do their business" funny? Get it? :D

Wind can be a problem with verandahs whereas with lemon trees I find you have 360 degrees to choose your angle taking into account the wind.

Be careful of low hanging prickles that are found on some varieties of lemon trees.

If you do a pee out in the yard at my place, the dog gets possessive and pee's on you. :rolleyes:

So I'm not the only one to notice this!!!!!!

Women and kids will just not close the lid. You wonder why they bother making dunny seats with lids?

Mate of mine solved it by fitting the seat so close to the cistern that the lid would not stay up. Problem was neither will the seat, leading to lots of mis-adventures when pumping the bilges.

Friday afternoon? Someone needs to drop a beer around to Studley from all of us getting timber - been a pretty big effort the last few weeks I reckon ;)
