"...another one bites the dust" :D
Nah, seriously best of luck!
A wise cousin took me aside and passed on some advice prior to my wedding day which I pass on to you.
"Remember and use often this most important phrase to ensure a happy marriage:.......... yes dear."
Just watch how you say it. :)
All the best womble and significant other.
Womble, Congratulations. You're probably on your honeymoon now.
At the end of this week we'll be celebration our 33 wedding anniversary
Womble, forgot to mention, you know you've got a good 'un if she still forgives you even when she's wrong :p
commiserations :o
Congrats are in order, good luck in your new life.
So where's the honeymoon too?
Hope you bought all your tools first! Congrats.
well the weddings been and gone, no major dramas on the day...apart from the bride nearly fainting during the ceremony!!! Had to have a half time break as the pastor put it! :D We thought it was going to be raining as well, but it turned out to be a beautiful fine winters day at Port Douglas, so that was good. The reception was back in Cairns at the rsl, which was nice as it overlooks the esplanade. Everyone had a good time which is the main thing. And we got 3 grand from the wishing well!! More tools for me! (probably go on the new house tho) No honeymoon yet, lots of people travelled up here and stayed so we thought we'd put that off for a while, probably next school holidays. Today we go up to the tablelands to see a builder and sign a contract for the work to be done to our house up there, so hopefully we'll be able to move in before christmas too!! All in all a busy but great weekend...and I NEVER want to have another bluddy photo taken of me as long as I live!!
Congats mate and remember it's like an apprentership after the initial training and you learn to say "yes boss" with a smile it's not a bad institution:D
All the best for the future mate.Quote:

That house came from just around the corner form our house in Buchan St.Quote:

There was a couple of other old queenslanders that could have been moved too, along buchan street. They weren't flash by any means but had the potential to be done up...no time to move them though :( The one beside ours on spence was beyond saving however, a real dump. I see another 3 old places along martyn street have gone recently, no doubt for more units...no sense of heritage hereQuote:
