If money was no object what sorta Car would you have?
Me, I rather fancy either a merc or a roller converted into a 1 ton tray ute.

The last Holden Monaro. Ok, I haven't added any mods to it....umm- a towbar!
Porsche 911 GT3....or.. Ferrari F40....failing that, JFK's convertible Lincoln:cool:
It would have to be a 3CV, Viva La France.....
Merde!!!!! What am I saying??
Al :p
Something I can fiddle with and Play in.
or should that be the other way round:confused:
A Real LOT of LWB Diesel F250s out here:eek:
I still like my MazdaRat1 626:o
Buy now!! As Ford have seen fit not to import any more F250 in to Oz anymore, this run is the last AGAIN!! :mad:Quote:

X5 to pull the donkeys around, with a modicum of comfort and power, 4.6 V8 of course.
M5 for everyday use, and show what acceleration really is.
No more than normal.....fitted to the car that SWMBO drives to bring the stock home ;)
A Britten V twin

hell even just a few laps would do me:cool:
from all accounts unfricken believeable, makes dukes and other desirable euros seem pedantic.
LAtest F250 for me
FAiling that one of those new fandangled cars that run off water so i dont have to pay Jonny for petrol
:D:D:D
Joh Bjelke-Petersens mate, Peter Murray had a Rolls Royce Corniche that he used on his farm at Sheffield in Tassie. He ripped the back seats out and carted hay around the paddocks for his sheep. :rolleyes:Quote:

An Ariel Atom for the track and a Porsche GT3 for the road :)
I'm surprised no-one has suggested a Morgan, I think they still have a wooden chassis. (I woodn't have one for that reason) :D
woodbe
Maserati GT/Dodge Ram.
Don't really care so long as it has really BAAAAD airhorns so I can those stupid little horse riding ladies who ride their horses on public roads right over/through the barbed wire fence and into the nearest dam/blackberry bush.
Or maybe a Ferrari Ute or p'raps a nice silver Maserati..... with roof racks!
edited - sorry stoppers (zed)
Something I could afford to feed and maintain.
Actually, nothing too extreme. A diesel 4wd ute for me, a hybrid 4wd for the fam damily.
(and a Posche Carrera GT or a Ferrari Enzo for when I have some extra pocket money and can fill it up...)
Hmmm... if money's no option, I want 2!
Firstly, a fully restored Holden HK one-tonner, 307 small-block chev. With a good anti-rust treatment it'd see me through to retirement in style... and be the perfect harley recovery truck. :o
The second would be a toss-up...
I've always wanted to throw a full chassis under an old Holden sedan (FE, FC, FB or mebbe an EK), carrying horses from a "slightly mod'd" big-block Ford 390ci through an FMX to a tank Fairlane diff. Paint it in several shades of primer, and then go ticky-touring past certain sidewalk cafes where the pretty boys show off their nice shiny XR-8's and so-called "Monaros." (Someone at GMH should be sacked for that!)
But after reading Christopha's post... I reckon I could settle for a nice new Lambers or Maserati provided it came in camo duco with spotties, bull-bar and winch. Oh... and how could I forget the esky ocky-strapped to the roof-racks!?
Now that would be a statement I'd really love to make... :D
A Toyota Landcruiser Sahara for carting the family around. The 4.2 litre turbo diesel model.
Whatever I got would have to come with the attractively padded female blonde chauffeur-ette with the jhodpurs & riding boots - 'coz I don't drive.:D :D :D
Anything built by Moal or been Chip Foose'd!
And the answer to the world's diminishing fuel resources is where in any of the above responses??

P
;)
Well if money was no object, why would I care about the rest of the world or its puny little problems?
And come to think of it, change mine to:
Jewel-encrusted, fur-lined M1-A1 main battle tank.
Gt40, Gt40, Gt40
Have you ever seen Mad Max?Quote:

Well yeah, but you are forgetting the fur lining. That's gotta be worth something on the eve of Armageddon, surely.:DQuote:

Money never is an issue for the cars I drive...
A Humvee..so I could squish some of these idiot drivers cars and watch them cry for doing burnouts in front of my house, making it stink of burnt rubber when the windows are open!....And for everyday use a Jensen Interceptor....
Hmm a Jensen Interceptor eh, my dad had one of those (a 1972 mk 3 I think) as a company car back in the 70's, it wasn't terribly reliable and got very hot in the back coz of the big bubble back window, but oh that engine!
being dropped off at school in it didn't harm your image either.......
Personally I'm drooling over a neighbors late model Range Rover thats been converted to a tray back ute.
Cheers
Dave
Not in our neighbourhood! We were the envy of the other kids when the ol' man dropped us off outta the front bucket of his old Massey-Fergusson FEL/back-hoe... :DQuote:
