An adventure motorcycling forum that I lurk at has their own group map. I thought it was pretty cool, so I created one for us. Add your self, then check it out before you go on vacation so you know which areas to avoid. :D

Ryan, the map is a bit short of places, I live on the Central Coast of NSW, but the map only gives me a choice of Sydney or Newcastle which are 200km apart, and I live half way in between.:(

they actually didn't recognise the town I live in either (maple falls), and I had to switch to the next largest one (bellingham) about 30 miles away. so no need for the persecution complex:D , it's just not a super detailed map.:cool:Quote:

Well Wollongong is not recognised either and according to the NSW gov site, Wollongong Local Government Area had an estimated population of 191558 as at June 04 and Newcastle LGA as 145633, yet we do not get a gurnsey . . .

Yes, I do live in the land of the Mormons. Please don't be mad at me if they come to your door at 6 am. I am an Atheist exmormon. If I had any say in it, they wouldn't be traveling abroad to bother people.
Apparently the way to get rid of these religious nuts that come door knocking, is to answer the door naked, and preferably, in a state of 'arousal'. They never return.

You're kidding! Who would admit to owning Mr Gibson it if wasn't true? I quite liked his action movies, but millions of dollars and global adulation seems to have effected him somewhat. Completely Loony Tunes now.

I was going to say something really profound and incredible but I forgot what it was. I liked Mel as Mad Max and when he played Carter in Payback which was a pretty good flick that looked low budget but may not have been.
Had some good hoods in it and Lucy Lui to add some sex appeal.
Are we allowed to talk movies here? I haven't seen any in ages and it is worse now that they have ditched the sunday night movie because I haven't had time to get out to see one in years and now I get repeats of CSI!
Maybe the Mormons will stop bugging you if you get them to watch the repeats of CSI with you? Actually if you let them in and say we are going to watch TV you have to stay you can't go and a mere 14 hours before the show starts mmm that might get them.

The thing that really pizzes me off about all these religious nutters that bang on your door is their inherent dishonesty. This is flying in the face of their avowed 'principles' of honesty.
To wit:
Last week two fairly sickly looking Sheilas, bearing suspicious looking leather tomes, ventured down our driveway, whilst I was washing the car.
I greeted them politely, but immediately they went into their speil: 'We are bearing a message of hope in this traumatised world, we just want to bring some happy thoughts into your day!"
I responded that they were doing no such thing, they were merely recruiting for their particular sect to grow the power of their 'elders' and increase the the treasury worth of the "Church of the Latter Day Witnesses of the 43rd Parallel, Scientolgy Orange, Jones' Evengelists"
They shot thru.
If you want to get people to subscribe to all this bankcrupt, supersticious, medieval bs at least practice the principles you preach.

My response to these people generally follows the line of;
If I want to buy a washing machine, I go to a washing machine shop. If I want to buy into your faith, I'll come to your church.
Sometimes they are a bit taken aback at having their beliefs compared to a washing machine, but it is better than somethings you can buy...
