No crocks? Too far inland? Too far South? Too Idyllic?
Regards
Paul

Could be the odd freshy in some of the deeper holes
Meh...worries me not!
This place is as good as it looks Bushmiller
Can't tell you where it is though
Local secret this one

The Brisbane river is at the bottom of my street, maybe 500 yards. We used to go swimming there but the $%^& water authority have fenced our side off. You have to cross the weir and climb down the hill on the other side. Very annoying.
Of course it recently came a bit closer to my house for a week or so :D
Off to another one of my favourite spots in the morning to take my hound for a swim
The local weir
Will post pics of it when I return home
Love the Australian landscape

Absolutely enchanting place

Couple more pics
The pooch had a ball
I had to stay on the sideline though and watch
Be back swimming in a month hopefully
The amount of fish in this system is staggering
Some good sized Perch I spotted close to the bank
Maybe 30cm in length...a few a bit bigger
I reckon there would be cherapin in there too
Log Dog :)
Loggy, I fixed some of your photos the right way and yes, top spot sir...

For us poor people who live further south (near Tamworth but in the hills) I don't think swimming would be the activity but we would be close to ice skating.
[That's an exaggeration but it highlights our very diverse beautiful country]
How is your convalescence coming on Chris?
Log Dog, that reminds me of a spot near Mt. Mulligan, west of Cairns. Probably not the same spot, but similar looking country.
This little cutie is a regular visitor to my property
Who needs a lawnmower? LOL
Truly blessed to have these critters around
Log Dog :)
Really well thanks Rod
Had half the staples removed today...the rest on Friday
That should speed up recovery even further
Crikey I feel good...had 90% blockage in one artery according to the doctor that I saw a few days ago and 70% in a few others.
I dodged a bullet(s)...I am very lucky!
B.P back to normal and heart rate good.
Extremely grateful to have a second chance at life
Thanks for your concern too mate
Log Dog :)
Lived there as a kid. Went back a few years ago and lots of memories came back. Sorry I couldn't make the centenary of the mine disaster last year.
