Hey ,
As a potty mouth myself I understand the value of editing sweariness.
However why are words like "@r$e" that are intrinsically aussie in nature to use on the potty register but words like bastard arnt on same ?
eh ?
cheers

The can has been opened again.
Do you like your worms fried, natural, kilpatrick, BBQ'd or in a nice satay sauce perhaps.
Whichever way appeals, I hope you enjoy them. :D :D
I hope the bread rolls are fresh!....The fattest one's are at the bottom (is that a bad word)?......:D
F LI C K is not a rude word, but I bet it won't last.
Ass is acceptable, as is bugger which Toyota use to promote their vehicles (maybe GM should use Sh**)
Pass the can opener please.....
Bit silly really cause if I use the Seppo spelling 'ass' then it's cool.Quote:

You never heard of a 'bastard file'?
Bastard file, n, typically the one that tears the skin off your knuckles, destroys the thing you were filing and ends up sailing across the room at mach 10 with it's name screamed after it...
Might also be used to sharpen axes. :o :D
I have thought long and hard how to answer you.
My answer: Do a bloody search under my name for rules, acceptable language or whatever else you can think of because I am sick of explaining about acceptable behaviour etc.
We gave you a forum where you can say what you want but some of you still aren't happy.
I do not know why any of you have to act like school kids to get stuff past me. It can be said without the swear words.
Be warned that from now on: The axe is going to get brutal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! because I am tired of a balancing act. No edits, deletions only because it is easier.
Yes, I am cheesed off.
Why not run the main forum on auto pilot and make life easier for yourself .
Define auto pilot.
Be warned - as from now Freedom of Speech is Dead!!!!Quote:

Our language has always been expressive and I haven't seen anyone here in my short time offended by any "swearing". A simple PM to the offending party by the offended one would do.
You have email waiting .
Cheers
Shedhand old son.
May I gently point out that you have only been a member of these forums for less than a month. I have no idea how long you have been a lurker.
If you do a search in the archives, you'll find that this topic has been covered often in the past.
Please don't get up on your high horse until you have some understanding of what it takes to provide these fora.
and think of the amount of work this forum makes for .
Thats why the orange room is there.
Shedhand, yes they are swearing.
Take an Oxford dictionary, and look up a questionable word. If it's says 'vulgar' next to it, then it's swearing.
I'd like to know that if, by chance, my wife reads this forum, the only thing she might be offended by is something I have typed in, not someone's inability to leave their blue streak at the door.
And I'm someone whose mum would make you blush with what she can come up with.
Also expecting this post to go into thin air, so...
duck. :)
Cripes (is that acceptable?) mmmfffffffwvvmmm ( that's me pursing my lips and counting to ten)......Quote:

BTW your claim of freedom of speech being dead is a load of codswallop, and shows your complete ignorance of the useage of this board.
Peter.
Not your son, jnr and not a lurker.Quote:

Just object to be censored when the issue is so topical and important. The anti-yank ones were more problematic but allowed to stand.
Just hit the ignore me button if you don't like me St Peter....:rolleyes:Quote:

Hey Shedhand,
One question: Are you happy to be here?

Pretty hard in a public forum. You post we read, that is the nature of the forums. I can only know that your post is offensive after the fact. Simple enough?Quote:

This is no-ones private playground.
And yes I have been known to swear on occasion.
It's taken a while for you to show your true colours. Maybe it's time we shut the shed door. :mad:Quote:

Well given that he's managed to alianate just about everybody, who's he going to talk to?
There's a spare seat either side of Alspine, maybe he could sit over there. ;) They seem suited to each other.
Glad that you didn't include Kenmil in this:D for unlike these two at least he contributed to the board before his infamous dummy spit.:DQuote:
